Yummy Tummy - Apple Sponge Cake

Dear All Mothers & Kitchen Lovers,
As we all know that sometimes kids like to have snacks / Cake type things ti eat in interval. So here is another recipe in this Section - APPLE SPONGE CAKE.
So here we go:-

Ingredients:-
  • 1cup – Maida / All Purpose Flour
  • 2no. – Apple
  • ½ cup – Butter-unsalted / Ghee / Cooking Oil 
  • 1/3 cup – Sugar (as per taste)
  • 2tbsp – Crushed cashew nuts
  • 1tbsp – Baking Powder
  • ¼ tbsp. – Baking Soda
  • ½ Cup - Milk
  • Pinch of Vanilla Extract
Procedure:-

     1.  First, make apple sauce – Peel Apple and grate it. In a pan take 1/3 cup sugar and grated apple, cook it till it becomes thick like a paste and all water is evaporated.

      2.  In a big bowl take oil & applesauce with some amount of milk and whisk till it becomes fluffy.

   3. Then add maida, baking soda, baking powder and gently mix all by adding milk in small intervals to make a paste. At the end add a pinch of vanilla extract and crushed cashews nuts & mix well.
Step 3
    4.   Pour the cake batter into cake container & microwave for 6-7 mins in preheat microwave @ 200 degree. Take it put and let it cool. Cake is ready.
Step 4 

Note: 


  • I have added 2 apples to give apple taste more.
  • You Can Also serve the hot cake with ice-cream.
